Transformations in Pastoral Rangelands: Controversy and Conflict

This is a documentary produced in collaboration with a team of researchers from both Kenya and Germany. It explores the impact of large-scale infrastructure and development projects on pastoral rangelands and their effect on the local communities in those regions. We accompanied the lead researcher during his visit to an indigenous community, where they shared the research findings and gathered feedback. Our filming took place in the scenic Mount Suswa area, and we aimed to convey, through a compelling narrative, how the traditional pastoralist community is adapting to the contemporary challenges that have emerged in their once tranquil way of life.
