I Can Walk Again

 

When Anne Njeri was diagnosed with Dermatomyositis, a rare inflammatory disease in February 2020, her severe condition disabled her muscles and caused relative disfigurement. But against all odds, she made it through extensive treatment that included 43 long days in the hospital. She says, “Just being able to stand is a gift. Everything we have is a gift from God and we shouldn't take anything for granted .”
